ProServ Gives
A hand for one local household, every month.
Each month we sort a job for one Bay of Plenty household, with up to $1,000 of labour and materials on us. One of those jobs that's been sitting on the too-hard list. Nominate someone who could use a hand, or put your own name forward.
Nominations close the last Friday of each month. One household drawn.
How it works
Simple, and open to everyone in the Bay of Plenty.
Nominate
Put forward a neighbour, a friend, a family member, or yourself, and tell us what the job is. It takes a minute.
We choose
We check the jobs we're able to help with that month, then draw one household at random from the eligible nominations.
We help
Our team turns up, gets the work done, and shares the before and after so the community can see it sorted.
The short version: we cover up to $1,000 including GST of labour and materials. If the job runs bigger than that, we'll tell you upfront and you can top up the difference, or we'll scope it back to fit.

Bigger jobs are still welcome. We'll scope it, show you the numbers, and you can either cover the difference or we'll trim the job back to fit the $1,000. Your call, no pressure.
We'll share the story
This is how we keep it running, so the winning household needs to be happy for us to photograph the work and use the before and afters in our advertising. No full names or street addresses, suburb only.

These need specific licences or sign-off we can't cover in a one-day giveaway.

The fine print
- Who can enter. Anyone in the Bay of Plenty. Entry is free and you can nominate a neighbour, a friend, a family member, or yourself.
- Closing date. Nominations close the last Friday of each month. One household is selected at random from the eligible nominations.
- What's covered. $1,000 including GST of labour and materials, valued at our standard rates. Anything beyond that is either covered by the household or the job is scoped back to fit, agreed with you before we start.
- Advertising. Selection is conditional on the household agreeing that we can photograph and film the work and use it in ProServNZ advertising and social media. We identify the suburb only, never full names or street addresses.
- What's excluded. Any work requiring council consent, plus electrical, roofing, plumbing and gasfitting, and anything that can't be done safely in the time available.
- Our discretion. We may re-draw if a selected household withdraws, can't be contacted within seven days, or if the job turns out to be outside what we're licensed or able to do. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
- Access and timing. The household needs to give us safe access on an agreed date. We'll work in with you, but timing is subject to our schedule.
- Your details. Nominating means you've told the person you're putting their name forward. We'll only use contact details to run this giveaway.
