The job

This Papamoa home is managed as a rental, and the exterior had reached the point where a maintenance paint would protect it for years to come. We handle this kind of work regularly for our property management clients: get in, sort the weatherboards properly, and hand back a home that looks sharp and is protected against the coast.

A good exterior repaint is mostly in the preparation. Skip it and the finish never lasts. So the bulk of this job was in the detail before a drop of topcoat went on.

How we delivered it

We refitted some of the scribers that had moved, then worked over the whole exterior, filling and prepping every dent and expansion joint so the surface was sound and even. With the boards remediated and the prep signed off, we coated the home in the client's colour choice for a clean, consistent finish.

The result is a low-fuss, high-impact refresh: a tidy home for the tenants and an asset that is properly maintained for the owner.
